In 2007 the Wachovia Championship office wanted a refreshed look and feel for their site. Although their old site had performed well, they wanted to expand it to give it a more modern look and more multimedia features. My designs all centered on a dynamic “hero shot“ on the page to grab the visitor's eye. Around this powerful image, I tried to make all the elements blend seamlessly into the page while maintaining its structure. This resulted in unified pages that didn't look like a mere collection of elements. Ultimately my designs weren't selected but they performed extremely well during the reviews.
